Oh these polls are cruel! Every one was like Sophie’s Choice!
March 7, 2010 at 3:35 pm
I was thinking exactly the same thing!
March 7, 2010 at 5:14 am
That last one almost killed me! How to pick your favourite of all Joss Whedon shows? AHHH! š But this is awesome, though.
March 7, 2010 at 6:40 am
Thanks for orgainising this – it was great fun. Had a few too many either/or moments and it is harsh to see some great people/moments getting less support than others. Having said that I can’t wait to see the gowns and hear the acceptance speeches. š

I am shocked at how little dollhouse did. And IF I could have, the costume design in dollhouse season 2, especially epitaph two, was my vote for best. It will always be the best of all whedonverse in my eyes, and costume design is what I do – so that’s saying something š

Buffy was great, one of best shows ever. Dollhouse was shitty.
March 7, 2010 at 9:19 am
Dollhouse shouldnt even be up there. that show was terrible.
March 7, 2010 at 12:25 pm
How can I even choose?
March 7, 2010 at 12:41 pm
Had SO much fun with this! Thanks again for being such a creative whirlwind. And I heartily, though congenially, disagree with the anti-Dollhouse contingent.

It’s a shame that Angel won’t win “Best Picture,” though seasons 2, 3, and 5 of that show were among the greatest television I have yet witnessed. So it goes.
Dollhouse had enough good episodes to make it underrated. Most of these heathens who say it sucks probably quit around the third (atrocious) episode.
March 7, 2010 at 7:23 pm
Hear hear. Angel has the finest character arcs of ANY television series, and provides some of the best hours of television ever made (All you need to do is look to season 5 disc 4 to see how good a DVD can be: You’re Welcome, Smile Time and A Hole in the World all in one place)
But how do I decide between Wesley and Victor for best supporting male? It’s just too damn difficult!
March 7, 2010 at 1:57 pm
Ohhhhhhhhhh, so difficult in many categories! However, this having to choose one really solidified my absolute favorite of all Joss’ quirky, intelligent, engaging, emotional and incredibly brilliant shows: Firefly
March 7, 2010 at 2:23 pm
Each category required some consideration but the decisions needed to be made. All of these were greats!
March 7, 2010 at 2:49 pm
This was so difficult! Why did I do this to myself?!!?!?!?!?!
March 7, 2010 at 2:50 pm
Voting for Best Supporting Actor was excruciating – all of them were incredible!!! In the end I had to pick between Franz and Enver on Dollhouse…
March 7, 2010 at 3:02 pm
Most of them I knew right away what my answer would be, but the actor in a supporting role was a tough one. A cruel one, I shouldn’t be forced to pick one of them, lol.
March 7, 2010 at 3:18 pm
OMG this poll was hard! I didn’t know who to pick for the Supporting Actor one! They’re all SO good! It was really hard to vote for this! š
March 7, 2010 at 3:28 pm
This was ridiculously hard. I spent like, twenty minutes just deciding on Supporting Actor. I did pick Spike since he’s my ultimate favorite vamp of all time. But I really like Topher and Victor too. And why wasn’t Jayne (Adam Baldwin) on there!?
March 7, 2010 at 3:32 pm
OMG this poll was really hard! Especially the Supporting Actor one. They were all so good! It was fun though š
March 7, 2010 at 3:34 pm
Most of them were pretty easy choices for me-BUT I JUST CAN’T DECIDE ON ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE! That’s what’s killing me…. Stuck between Victor, Giles, Wesley, and Topher….it’s awful! I love all of them.
March 7, 2010 at 3:54 pm
OMG !!!! What choices ???
It’s like chosing between my mother and my father !
Even Whedonverse polls are heartreaking ! š
March 7, 2010 at 4:29 pm
It just makes you think and appreciate all that Joss and Co. have given us. Thanks for all the smiles, tears, and in advance for the next big thing!
March 7, 2010 at 6:32 pm
YAY! So glad you did this. I hope there is a ceremony… or even just people running around with a camcorder and presenting awards on the street. LOL
March 7, 2010 at 7:38 pm
Unfortunately, the only ceremony we could get together on such short notice is a Twitter-mony. If you follow @whyiwatch or #WhedonOscars tonight at 8pm EST, we’ll tweet the results with different people presenting each category. If you’d like to be a presenter, please send me a message via Twitter. There are still a few categories available.
March 7, 2010 at 7:40 pm
Man, was this a tough choice!
